What is the MarketingTracer SEO MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets your AI assistant call MarketingTracer tools. It reads the same data you see when you open Search Console or the scan yourself. Traffic down? Content decaying? Two pages fighting over one keyword? The assistant pulls the numbers from your account and answers from your data instead of guessing.

From "what should we fix?" to a sprint plan

Ask in plain language. Get pages ranked by real search demand, the issues on those pages, and what to change first.

Most SEO tools dump a report on your desk. You still open Search Console, open the crawl, open Analytics, and stitch the story together yourself. That costs an hour every time a client asks why traffic is down or what to work on this month.

The MCP does that joining for you. Eleven tools cover the questions you actually ask: one-page briefs, traffic drop diagnosis, content gaps, cannibalization, slow decay, section performance and the full on-page scan.

You do not need to know the tool names. You ask the question and the assistant picks the data. You get the metrics, the issues and an order of work. The pages that matter, not a spreadsheet of everything.

SEO Superpowers: data plus how to fix it

The MCP gives the assistant your MarketingTracer data. The SEO Superpowers skill steers the answer: show the numbers, name the issues, say how to fix them.

An AI that can read Search Console is half a product. Without structure you get advice like "improve your titles", "add more content", "check technical SEO". Nobody ever shipped that.

SEO Superpowers is the skill on top of the MCP. Every answer gets the same shape. First the data that matters. Then the specific problem, which is a URL plus the rule it breaks, or a query plus its metric. Then the fix for each one. Then the order to do them in, sorted by traffic and demand instead of by how loud a scan score looks.

Install it once in Claude Code, or use it wherever your assistant supports skills. Then ask how to improve the homepage, why organic is down, or what to do this sprint. The answer is built on your sites.

Questions you can ask, with real answers

These are the questions agencies and webmasters already ask every week. Now the answer comes with your clicks, positions, issues and next steps.

Traffic is down. Compare the last period to the one before it. You see which pages lost clicks, whether impressions moved with them, and what changed on those pages while it happened.

What should we fix first? Pages ranked by optimization potential and real Search Console demand. A page with a high opportunity score and no search traffic does not jump the queue. Ask for a pure technical list if that is what you want.

Almost ranking. Queries where you already get impressions but sit below page one. Strengthen the URL you have before you write a second page for the same intent.

Pages competing. Keywords where two or more of your own URLs show up. A lot of those turn out to be language versions of the same page, so classify them before anyone suggests a 301.

Quiet decay. Pages that lose a few percent every month. A month-on-month chart never shows it. You notice when half the traffic is gone.

Connect in minutes, in Claude Code or any MCP client

One server URL. Your personal API key. No CSV exports.

Open MarketingTracer, go to the MCP Server page for your site, and copy the endpoint plus your personal API key. Paste both into Claude Code, or into any client that speaks MCP over HTTP.

White-label agencies connect on their own domain. The server runs on your MarketingTracer host, so clients stay inside your branded environment. The key is tied to the account, so treat it like a password. Anyone who has it can read the data on that account.

Then install SEO Superpowers so the answers do not stop at a chart. You get the metrics, the broken rules and the fix list. There is a slash command if you want to force the flow: /seo-superpowers.

Already monitoring sites in MarketingTracer with Search Console and GA4 connected? The data is there. Connecting it to your assistant is one setup step.

Why do I need an SEO MCP at all?

The data is not the bottleneck anymore. Joining Search Console, Analytics and the crawl before the meeting starts is. Agencies export, paste, and export again. Webmasters open five tabs. MarketingTracer already holds the scan, GSC and GA4 for your sites, so the MCP hands that stack to the assistant you already use. Your analysis starts from your numbers instead of from a blank chat.

What is the difference between the MCP and SEO Superpowers?

The MCP is the connection. It returns real MarketingTracer data: sites, page briefs, opportunities, traffic drops, gaps, cannibalization, decay, clusters, GSC, GA4 and the scan. SEO Superpowers is the skill that uses those tools well. It shows the data, names the specific issue, gives the fix and sorts by impact. Use both.

Which AI tools work with it?

Anything that speaks MCP over HTTP. We document Claude Code first: add the server, then install the skill from the marketplace. Other MCP clients use the same server URL and Bearer token. The setup steps are on the MCP page in the app once you are logged in.

Does it invent rankings or clicks?

No. Every answer has to come from tool output. If Search Console or Analytics is not connected for a site, the assistant says so instead of producing a number. Rankings are Search Console averages, with the usual few days of reporting lag. There is no separate rank tracker behind them.

Can agencies use this white label for clients?

Yes. MarketingTracer is built for multi-tenant, white-label use. The MCP endpoint resolves on your host, so the connection stays on your branded domain. You decide who on the account holds the API key and how you use the assistant for client work.

How do I turn it on?

Start with a MarketingTracer account holding the sites you care about, ideally with GSC or GA4 connected and the on-page scan running. Open the MCP Server page in the app and copy the server URL and your personal API key. Add MarketingTracer as an MCP server in your client. Install the SEO Superpowers skill. Then ask a real question about one of your sites.
